Dark Souls: Taurus Demon

Now after your hard climb past the fire throwers and shield and spear hollows you think you might be in the clear but that is far from the case. Now this tips and tricks will be short because its a pretty easy way to do this.

Now once you climb the tower at the end of the burg and pass though the fog/white light your going to be brought to a large bridge NOW before you run across the bridge make sure to squeeze yourself between the wall and stairs on your right side and climb up the ladder there you will find two undead archers on the top of the tower you were previously climbing up and this is a MUST your gonna want to kill these two archers to be safe later.

Now once those archers are dead make sure you have your strongest weapon in hand and your estus flasks at the ready. Slide back down the ladder and make your way across the bridge slowly do NOT run your going to want to save your stamina if your wearing heavy armor. Once you hear the roar of the Taurus Demon and see his name and health bar pop up at the bottom of the screen run back the way you came don't wait for him to drop onto the bridge run back and climb the ladder and get to the top of the tower. Now your only safe there for a time so as soon as the Demon gets close to you and is standing under you drop down and attack (either R1 or the right trigger) to do a plunging attack that will take a chunk of his health out right away,

Now comes the hard part since your on the bridge with the large lumbering beast there are two ways you can go about this. (WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIGHT HIM ON THE BRIDGE) 1. You can try to squeeze between his legs and make it back to the ladder you probably will get attacked two ways like this he will either swing at you when your trying to squeeze through or hit you when your climbing the ladder so be careful. 2. You can run away from him forcing him to follow you and then once he is away from the ladder make a mad dash back towards it doing this he will swing at you so be prepared to roll through the attack and run towards the ladder and repeat the plunging attack. Doing this (depending on the weapon) will take 3 or 4 times to do it if you do get hit you will have a chance to climb up the ladder stand at the edge drink the flask and continue to attack.

You do NOT I repeat do NOT want to get caught up on top of the tower with the Demon because he will jump up there with you if you take to long being caught in close quarters with that large demon with his large swings if you do get caught up there with him jump down so he follows you down and try to continue the above process. This is the easiest way to kill this demon and works every time. Enjoy your souls.
