Dark Souls: Pinwheel

Now I don't know about you but if my Stray Demon tips was short this one should only be a few sentences. The only hard part about this boss is getting down to him, you have to go through the graveyard at the back of Firelink Shrine and before I forget you need either an Occult or Divine Weapon as all the skeletons here take extra damage from weapons such as these, If i remember correctly you can create divine weapons through the Blacksmith at the Darkroot Garden entrance  if you give him the Large Embers you get after killing the Moonlight Butterfly. So once you have your weapon make your way through the graveyard as there are a few items worth getting here but some Large Skeletons with very large weapons, and another thing before going into The Catacombs it might be a good idea to get the Fog Ring from the forest hunters covenant so you can be hidden from the various things in this place and another thing move slowly as it is very dark.

The main thing you want to be hidden from is the Sprites though it doesn't sound bad they are annoying as they explode when they get close to you they barely do damage to you but they toss you around upon exploding so more annoying than dangerous. And of course with it being Catacombs there are plenty of skeletons and they are different than the ones in the graveyard as these reassemble when you kill it you can tell they will when you do not receive souls for killing them but when you use a divine or occult weapon they will die and you will get souls for it. There are also magic users that usually sit out of reach and shoot soul arrows at you while you fight a group of skeleton but with the Fog Ring they will usually just turn in your direction and do nothing. So to get the the bosses area is actually deep in the catacombs so there is a chance to get a lot of the items here but if your willing you could always explore and get the rest of them as at the very bottom of the Catacombs is a Black Knight that has a chance to drop the Black Knight Great Axe which like all the other Black Knight weapons are strangely over powered. Also down here is the Gravelord Covenant which give you the Gravelord Sword and Gravelord Sword Dance to get down to him you need Eyes of Death which are dropped by the Basilisks in the Depth or the sewers if you don't know where that is exactly.

There are also a lot of drop offs so you may need some Prism Stones that show you if a drop is survivable the Undead Female Merchant sells it for 50 souls and she is at the end of the aqueduct that you can go to right across from the entrance of the depths. These things are super helpful as they glow when you can survive a drop and let out a loud shrieking sound if you cannot survive the fall so a major thing to get. So along with a lot of items there is also a lot of enemies along with some really annoying Wheel Skeleton that will cause major damage if you do not block it. Also down here is a Blacksmith and as of now I have no idea what he makes for you so I can't really tell you.

Anyway once you make your way down to the boss area you will meet Pinwheel now you have to be one of the sorriest people to ever play Dark Souls if you have any kind of trouble fighting him this guy has to be a joke boss like really he has to be there is no way you can lose to him a child could beat him so easily. All he does is make copies of himself but if you keep your eye on him you can kill him in one cycle of clones with no problem and then thats it.

He drops the Rite of Kindling to raise the bonfires kindling from 10 as it was to higher numbers which is good if your going against a hard boss. He will also drop 1 of his three ask which can either be.

Mask of the Father, which increases your equipment load meaning you can hold more heavier things without it slowing you down.

Mask of the Mother, which raises your main HP buy a bit so I guess for like one of your thief characters is a good addition to have.

Mask of the Child, this mask acts just like the Grass Crest Shield so it increases your stamina recovery speed.

Most of the masks are kinda worthless if you don't care about it but the Rite of Kindling is worth getting so there you are get you some good weapons here a few items and a Blacksmith. So be on the look out for the rest of my boss and semi boss guides until then.
